David and Goliath

Months ago we decided on naming our cute, adorable little baby boy Joshua David. But after my doctor's visit Friday, we're thinking of renaming him Joshua Goliath. Because the kid is estimated to weigh a whopping 9 pounds 8 ounces. (probably more, the doctor confesses, these estimates tend to run low)

How a little girl like me made a behemoth like that is beyond my understanding. But it sure explains why I have been feeling so ridiculously tired and hurt-y (a hannah phrase). Oh, and why my belly is so huge it has it's own orbit. Why I got stopped in Wal-mart by a lady who wanted to know when my twins were due.

Tuesday is the day. Wish me luck.

I don't believe it, I don't know why they estimate weights, I don't think I've ever heard of one that was even close to accurate! (that was supposed to make you feel better I think).... My bet is less than 9. And even though you are much smaller than me, I will tell you that I didnt think that pushing out a (1 ounce shy of) 9 pounder was much different than the less than 7 pound one... ;) They all hurt comin' out.... Good luck!!!!! :D

Good Luck. The neighbors aren't laughing at you.. they are just remembering when they were larger than life last summer. Although.. now that I see your numbers.. Luke was soo petite.

If you need to kick Sammy and Hannah over any time just let me know. I can even arrange an afternoon nap so that you don't have to deal with anything but sleep.

Oh man.. your belly.. I hate to say it.. but.. It's HUGE!

Isn't it absolutely amazing what we women are capable of! Good luck on Tuesday...oh and I think the name Goliath might make a come back. Old fashioned names are really in right now. You could start a new trend.

It's tuesday so hopefullthere will be exciting news soon. (oh, and I'm very curious to hear the actual weight. Ultrasounds weight guestimates are notoriously up to 2 lbs off!). Best of luck, hope things are going great for you!
