We went to the Madison Street Festival this past weekend, and it was a lot of fun. Okay, let me qualify that. Down one side of the street was a row of vendors selling nice crafts, albiet nothing like the cool stuff at the Memphis festivals- Pink Palace Crafts fair, Italian Festival, Germantown Festival, Overton Square...Memphis was pretty hip. But down the other street it was the Madison Church Festival! All the more prominent churches in the area each had a booth and were spreading the word with go fish games, clowns, ball drop games, bubbles, handouts, and all kindsa friendliness. Hannah and Sam had a blast. It was a good Saturday morning.
